Course Description
The course ‘Chinese for Work’ covers the use of basic Chinese in the workplace, based on cultural differences. It consists of five units:
1. Greeting and self-introduction (打招呼与自我介绍),
2. Introducing various departments in an organization (介绍公司组织机构),
3. Using office equipment (办公用品的使用),
4. Writing schedules and work plans (工作的日程安排),
5. Communication in meetings (召开会议).
Learning Objectives
- CLOs1: Listen to and pronounce Chinese vocabulary and sentences in various work-related situations.
- CLOs2: Use common vocabulary and phrases in conversations across various workplace situations.
- CLOs3: Have a positive attitude toward learning Chinese.
