Many people have shared experiences of encountering online fraudsters in various forms, such as malicious apps that steal money. These apps deceive us into downloading them onto our phones, secretly withdrawing money through mobile banking, or mule accounts set up to receive money from illegal transfers. The law designed to crack down on online fraud is the Royal Decree on Preventive and Suppressive Measures against Technology Crimes, B.E. 2566 (2023). It contains key points that the public should be aware of to prevent online crimes.
